Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist – Full-Time, 32 Hours per Week

Pike County Memorial Hospital (PCMH) is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist to join our hospital-based Physical Therapy Department. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position working 32 hours per week.

The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy services designed to improve mobility, function, strength, and quality of life. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, therapy staff, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide appropriate physical therapy treatments and interventions
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families regarding exercises, mobility, safety, and continued care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team
• Follow applicable professional standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Missouri licensure
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• New graduates are welcome to apply
