Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel nursing contract. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and high-quality nursing care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, and ensuring excellent patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical and psychosocial conditions and monitor their progress.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and healthcare needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Ensure safe patient handoffs and effective communication among care team members.
• Advocate for patients and support informed healthcare decisions.
• Follow hospital policies, professional nursing standards, and patient safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Current and valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and complete the full 13-week contract.
