Role Description
The Information Technology Product Manager at Pakt is a full-time, on-site role based in California, United States. This role is responsible for defining product vision and strategy for Pakt’s AI hiring platform and ATS, translating business needs and user feedback into clear requirements and prioritized roadmaps.
The Product Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, data science, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver features that improve candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, assessments, and automation workflows.
Daily activities include gathering and analyzing product and business data, running discovery sessions with internal and external stakeholders, documenting business processes, managing backlog and sprint planning, and overseeing product launches.
The role also involves monitoring product performance, identifying optimization opportunities, and ensuring technology solutions align with security, scalability, and usability standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Product Management skills, including roadmap development, backlog prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and end-to-end feature delivery.
- Solid Information Technology foundation, with experience working with SaaS platforms, APIs, data-driven applications, and modern software development practices.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret product usage data, define metrics, perform root-cause analysis, and inform data-driven decisions.
- Ability to capture and translate Business Requirements into clear functional specifications that reflect customer and market needs.
- Experience mapping and optimizing Business Process flows across recruitment, HR, or enterprise software environments.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
- Background in HR tech, recruitment software, ATS platforms, or AI/ML products is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present product decisions to technical and non-technical partners.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
