About OneVillage
Healthcare is broken. Not because people don't care, but because navigating it alone is nearly impossible. At OneVillage, we're fixing that.
OneVillage is a whole-health employee benefits platform that connects employees with expert navigators, clinicians and specialists across insurance navigation, medical navigation, mental health, nutrition, physical and occupational therapy, chronic condition care, financial wellness, and more. We're not a chatbot. We're not a directory.
We're real humans, deeply trained and deeply empathetic, who show up for employees at the moments that matter most.
Think about what it means to have a brilliant friend who happens to know everything about healthcare, benefits, and wellness, someone who picks up the phone, figures it out with you, and doesn't let go until the problem is solved. That's OneVillage.
Our members feel it. The reviews and testimonials we receive daily are humbling: employees telling us we saved their marriage, their finances, their sanity, their lives. We've coordinated emergency medevacs.
We've helped members navigate cancer diagnoses, mental health crises, and impossible insurance battles. We've been there for the moments that no one else shows up for.
And we're just getting started.
The Role
We're hiring a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver virtual care to OneVillage members, $70 per 45-minute session. We bring you the clients. You bring the clinical eye.
The result for our clinicians: you get to spend your time actually treating. We bring the clients, handle the insurance and employer-benefits side, schedule the sessions, pay you reliably, and surround you with 25+ other hand-selected clinicians and specialists you can collaborate with and refer to. No cold outreach.
No marketing grind. No insurance-credentialing nightmare. Just the work you trained to do.
Who we're looking for
- A PT who is energized by movement, function and recovery: back and neck pain, post-surgical return to activity, balance and fall prevention, and the everyday aches that keep people from doing their jobs.
- Comfortable delivering care over video: adapting assessments, using the member's home creatively, and sending between-session programs they will actually do.
- Strong across the lifespan, or deeply strong in one stage, from active adults to aging parents recovering at home.
- Someone who believes care works best in community. Many of our members also work with our nutrition, mental health and eldercare teams, and the referral loop makes outcomes compound.
What you'll do
- Deliver 1:1 virtual physical therapy sessions (45 min) to OneVillage members
- Evaluate and treat musculoskeletal pain, post-surgical recovery, balance and fall risk, and return-to-activity goals over HIPAA-compliant video
- Design home exercise programs members can do between sessions, then coach adherence rather than just assign it
- Support older members and their caregivers with home-safety guidance and fall prevention
- Recognize when a member needs in-person imaging, hands-on care or a specialist referral, and route them with our medical navigators
- Document clinical notes and plans of care in our secure portal
What you bring
- Active physical therapist license in good standing (PT or DPT); licensed in any state is fine, as long as you are willing to get licensed in DC, Maryland and Virginia (we support the process)
- An individual NPI so your sessions can be billed to members' health plans (we handle the credentialing paperwork with you)
- 3+ years of clinical experience, with meaningful time in outpatient orthopedics, home health or telehealth
- A coaching mindset: you explain the why, set realistic goals and keep members engaged between visits
- Comfort with virtual-first care via HIPAA-compliant video, reliable internet, and a quiet, private, professional home-office setup
Nice to have
- Licensure in more than one state (a big plus, since our members are nationwide)
- Telehealth PT experience, or PT Compact privileges
- Orthopedic, geriatric or oncology rehab certification (OCS, GCS, or lymphedema training)
- Experience with fall-prevention programming or chronic pain
- Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, or another second language
- Prior work inside an insurance-covered or employer-benefits care model
What we offer
- Clients come to you. Members find us through insurance, employer benefits, and our partner organizations. You never have to do lead-gen.
- We handle the plumbing. Credentialing, scheduling, HIPAA-compliant video, session notes, billing, and insurance eligibility checks are all handled by OneVillage.
- Flexible and virtual. Set your own availability. Add as many or as few client slots as you want. Work from anywhere with reliable internet.
- Real colleagues, not a platform. You'll be part of a tight-knit team of about 25 clinicians and specialists who meet, refer clients across specialties, and genuinely care about each other's practices.
- Mission-aligned pay. Session-based compensation with transparent rates. No volume quotas. No pressure to upsell anything.
Compensation: $70 per 45-minute session
