About this role
About OLOID
OLOID helps enterprises modernize workforce access through passwordless authentication and identity solutions for shared devices, enterprise applications, and frontline environments. Our solutions make secure access simpler for employees while helping IT teams manage authentication across complex enterprise environments.
About the Role
We are seeking an
Enterprise Solutions Architect
to design, configure, and deliver OLOID solutions for enterprise customers. This is a
hands-on, customer-facing role
that combines solution architecture, identity and access management (IAM), enterprise integrations, and technical implementation.
You will partner with customer IT and security teams to understand their environments, translate requirements into solution designs, and guide implementations from technical discovery and proof of concept through production deployment. Internally, you will work closely with sales, product, engineering, and customer success to ensure solutions meet customer needs and can be deployed and supported effectively.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading an architecture workshop, configuring an identity provider, troubleshooting an authentication flow, and explaining technical tradeoffs to a customer.
This role requires direct configuration and implementation experience—not architecture advisory or presales experience alone.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer discovery and solution design.
Assess business workflows, identity infrastructure, applications, endpoint environments, and security requirements. Translate findings into deployment architectures, integration plans, and clear technical prerequisites.
- Architect end-to-end enterprise solutions.
Design authentication and access workflows across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, accounting for security, usability, scalability, availability, and operational support.
- Configure identity and application integrations.
Work directly with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Okta, Ping Identity, and other enterprise platforms. Configure SSO, MFA, federation, user provisioning, directory connectivity, and authentication policies.
- Build and validate proofs of concept.
Define success criteria, configure demonstration and test environments, validate customer use cases, and identify technical dependencies or gaps before production rollout.
- Guide implementation and production readiness.
Partner with customer administrators and OLOID delivery teams to configure solutions, test integrations, resolve deployment issues, and establish operational handoffs.
- Troubleshoot complex technical problems.
Investigate authentication failures, API errors, certificate issues, endpoint behavior, and network dependencies using logs, diagnostic tools, and structured testing.
- Create documentation and improve repeatability.
Develop architecture diagrams, configuration guides, deployment runbooks, and troubleshooting resources. Share implementation insights with product and engineering to improve capabilities and simplify future deployments.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in solutions architecture, enterprise implementation, technical consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Strong, hands-on IAM implementation experience, with deep expertise in one or more platforms such as
Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Okta, or Ping Identity
.
- Practical experience configuring and troubleshooting
SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, and LDAP
integrations.
- Experience with Windows enterprise environments and supporting infrastructure, including DNS, networking, firewalls, TLS, and certificates.
- Ability to work with REST APIs and use scripting or automation to support configuration, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience translating business and security requirements into technical designs, explaining tradeoffs, and delivering solutions in collaboration with customer teams.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership of technical issues through resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with passwordless authentication, FIDO2/WebAuthn, certificate-based authentication, or public key infrastructure (PKI) is highly desirable.
- Additional relevant experience includes shared workstations and kiosk environments; web, native, and mobile application integrations; endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune, Workspace ONE, or SOTI; cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure; and automation using PowerShell or Python.
- Experience supporting healthcare, manufacturing, retail, or other frontline-intensive enterprise environments is also valuable.
- What Success Looks Like You will help customers move from requirements to working, production-ready solutions.
- Success means well-designed architectures, integrations that meet agreed acceptance criteria, clearly documented configurations, and smooth handoffs to customer administrators and support teams.
- You will also turn lessons from individual deployments into reusable approaches that improve implementation quality across customers.
- Why OLOID?
- This role offers the opportunity to solve practical enterprise identity challenges, own meaningful customer outcomes, and work directly with product and engineering teams.
- Your work will influence both how OLOID solutions are deployed and how they evolve to meet real-world customer needs.
