We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on accounting professional to manage various aspects of the full-cycle bookkeeping and general ledger across multiple related entities. This role combines day-to-day bookkeeping with general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, month-end closing activities, and financial reporting for a portion of the current 23 companies.
The Staff Accountant will manage assigned accounting responsibilities with appropriate guidance, specifically from CFO along with direction and support from the accounting team as appropriate. As part of a team effort, will maintain accurate, consistent financial records across all entities and strengthen accounting processes as the business grows.
The position requires a balance of transactional accounting skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities in a fast-moving, family-owned business environment.

- Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, reclasses, adjustments) in accordance with established accounting procedures and review requirements.
- Work under the guidance of CFO or Controller to resolve complex accounting issues.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of core bookkeeping functions across all entities to provide reliable coverage during employee absences, periods of high volume, or other operational needs

Financial Reporting
- Assist with preparation of monthly company financial statements (P&L, balance sheet) and consolidated reporting across entities, as needed.
- Assist with basic month-over-month variance analysis with supporting details for material changes.
- Assist with financial information requests and special project assignments from CFO.
Process Improvement & Controls
