About this role
North Capital, a growing financial technology company, is seeking a full-stack software engineer. North Capital builds the technology behind private capital markets: the APIs, trading systems, and investor platforms that issuers, broker-dealers, and investors rely on to raise capital, trade securities, and move money.
As a full-stack engineer working directly with our Director of Engineering, you will ship production code across a diverse set of products and languages, from our core securities API and alternative trading system to new work in secondary trading and tokenized securities.
This role suits a highly skilled generalist who thrives with autonomy, works well as part of a team, and seeks to understand stakeholder needs while owning the work from design through production.
What You'll Do
- Own features end to end across the stack, from scoping and design through testing, deployment, and production support
- Continue to modernize a mature platform by improving code quality, test coverage, infrastructure, and security
- Write clean, well-tested code where correctness and auditability matter, including money movement and compliance workflows
- Review code and uphold high engineering standards across the team
- Work closely with stakeholders and other engineers to turn business needs into effective technical designs
