Exciting Opportunity for Physical Therapists! We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) interested in working in a pediatric, clinic-based setting, providing direct treatments and/or providing supervision to our PTAs.

Position

Physical Therapist Schedule: Late Afternoons, 2-3 days a week, 1:00pm - 3:30pm (Additional hours may become available as the year progresses.) Start Date: ASAP Location: NYT Kids Pediatric Treatment Center – Port Jefferson Station, NY OR Farmingdale, NY

At NYT Kids Pediatric Treatment Center, we are dedicated to providing exceptional pediatric physical therapy services in a supportive, collaborative, and family-centered environment. Our newly expanded gym offers plenty of treatment space, several small treatment rooms, a sensory gym, a PT gym and new equipment.

As a growing agency, we are passionate about helping children reach their full potential, and we are looking for motivated, reliable, and compassionate Physical Therapists or PT Assistants (PTA) to join our team.

Position Overview

As a PT at NYT Kids, you will work alongside a supportive team of professionals to provide high-quality therapy services to children with a variety of developmental, physical, and cognitive needs. The role involves implementing individualized therapy plans, supporting the treatment process, and ensuring a positive and engaging therapy experience for children and their families.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current PT license/certification in the state of New York.
• Experience working with pediatric populations in a clinical or school-based setting-preferred.
• Passionate, motivated, and dedicated to providing quality care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, professional, and committed to providing excellent therapy services.
• Experience with a variety of pediatric conditions, including developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing issues, and motor skill challenges.
