About this role
Job Title: Solutions Architect – Autonomic Security Operations
Location: Pleasanton, CA (Onsite)
Reports To: Sr. VP and GM – Operations and Solutions
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales & Solution
Design ("The Seller")
- The ASO Pitch: Articulate the clear business value of Autonomic Security Operations to C-level
executives. Shift client conversations from "counting alerts" to drastically reducing Mean Time
to Resolution (MTTR), mitigating business risk, and enhancing cyber resilience.
- Scoping & Strategy: Conduct technical discovery sessions to map complex client environments
against the MITRE ATT&CK matrix, evaluating gaps that our platform will address.
- Environment Assessment: Thoroughly review client attack surfaces, ingestion data sources, and
existing security controls.
- Proof of Value (PoV): Design and lead technical demonstrations showing how our platform
transforms raw telemetry into actionable ActOns using Netenrich's Resolution Intelligence logic.
Post-Sales & Strategic Oversight ("The Partner")
- Architectural Onboarding: Oversee high-level architectural design for enterprise client
onboardings, ensuring data ingestion across SIEM and XDR environments is optimized for ASOstyle
analytics.
- Continuous Value Realization: Act as a "Security Consultant in Residence" in post-sales
engagements. Leverage the ACT framework to align evolving attack surfaces with existing
controls and emerging threats, utilizing MITRE heatmaps to demonstrate expanding service
coverage.
- Incident Post-Mortems: Proactively evaluate major global threat developments (such as
emerging zero-day vulnerabilities) and communicate directly with clients regarding adjustments
made to their ASO detection posture.
Product & Platform Evolution
- Feedback Loop: Serve as the definitive "voice of the customer" for internal product and
engineering teams. Identify technical friction points during rollout to continuously improve
implementation efficiency and service margins.
- Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends in the security operations landscape.
Maintain the technical depth required to evaluate, compare, and contrast competing AI/MLdriven
security platforms
Technical & Professional Requirements:
- Framework Fluency: Expert ability to map security log sources to the MITRE ATT&CK framework
and explain the practical business impact of specific techniques to key stakeholders. Deep
technical understanding of attack surfaces, security controls, and trending cyber threats.
- Consultant Skillset: Proven track record in a pre-sales or billable consulting role. Comfort with
whiteboarding complex enterprise security architectures for both deeply technical engineers
and non-technical executive stakeholders.
- Cloud & Data Stack: Hands-on proficiency with Google SecOps (Chronicle), CrowdStrike,
Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or similar security platforms, alongside a strong understanding of
how modern data lakes power security analytics.
- Modern Tooling & AI Adoption: Adept at leveraging modern AI tools (such as NotebookLM,
Gemini, ChatGPT) to optimize workflows, research threats, and enhance operational delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or
a related field is required.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in Information Security and at least 5 years of
consultancy experience.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar are preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a track
record of effectively engaging with executive stakeholders and technical teams.
- Project Management: Proven project management skills with a detail-oriented, self-directed
approach.
The Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who can convince a skeptical CISO that their 24/7 SOC is obsolete, and then work directly with that CISO's engineering team to significantly improve their posture through automated, framework-driven execution.
