Registered Nurse MS/Tele

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for a contract position in Rochester, NY. This role is in a fast-paced MS/Telemetry unit, focusing on providing exceptional care to patients with complex medical conditions, orthopedic overflow, and long-term care needs. The position offers a 12-hour day shift schedule with alternating shifts of 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM.

Guaranteed 48 hours per week ensures stability and consistency in your work schedule.Key responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, managing feeding tubes, central line care, PICC line management, and blood product administration. Additional duties involve handling pacemakers, surgical drains, and providing wound care, including wound vac management.

The role also requires proficiency in using EPIC EMR systems and working with rapid response and code teams. Candidates must be comfortable with patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7 and will be expected to float as needed.Certifications required include BLS and NIHSS, along with at least two years of experience, previous charge nurse experience, and familiarity with high-acuity patient care.

Weekend shifts are every other weekend, and the dress code requires navy bottoms with a navy or white top.
