Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry

Join our Atlanta, Georgia team as a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in MedSurg/Telemetry for an exciting travel nursing opportunity. This role is based on a 38-bed unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio. You'll be working with adult patients, primarily over the age of 65, dealing with trauma, falls, fractures, and MVC cases.

Your expertise in geriatric care, trauma, ortho trauma, and prevention strategies for hospital-acquired delirium, falls, and pressure injuries will be invaluable. The facility emphasizes early mobility and effective family communication. Specialized equipment includes gait belts, geriatric chairs, and PT equipment.

The assignment offers night shifts, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Proficiency in EPIC EMR, BLS, and ACLS certification is mandatory, as well as prior documented experience in medical-surgical and telemetry care.
