About MMA & Sports Rehab

MMA & Sports Rehab is a premier private practice in Arlington, VA, rated as one of the area’s top physical therapy clinics for seven consecutive years. We counter the high-volume corporate physical therapy model by prioritizing exceptional 1-on-1 patient care, sustainable clinician schedules, and advanced clinical mentorship.

The Role

We are hiring a

full-time Physical Therapist

for our original Arlington clinic (MSR 1). MSR 1 is a dedicated clinical environment focused on outpatient orthopedics, weekend warriors, and chronic pain resolution. You will work alongside our founder, Dr.

Ujjwal, making this an ideal role for early-career clinicians or experienced therapists seeking high-level mentorship in the Fascial Distortion Model (FDM) and advanced manual therapy diagnostics.

What You Will Do

  • Evaluate and treat a diverse orthopedic caseload ranging from active adults to outpatient neuro cases.
  • Deliver dedicated 1-on-1 manual therapy and individualized therapeutic exercise in a focused, low-distraction setting.
  • Maintain a sustainable daily schedule with a target of 11 visits per day

(bonuses for exceeding 11 visits a day)

  • Coordinate with our clinical team to transition discharging patients into our "Bridge" MSR Performance group training classes.
  • Master advanced manual therapy techniques, including FDM and joint mobilizations, under direct mentorship.

What You Need

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution (new graduates and developing clinicians are encouraged to apply).
  • Active physical therapy licensure (or eligibility) in Virginia.
  • A strong drive to build expertise in advanced hands-on manual assessment, spine care, and diagnostic problem-solving.
  • Preferred but not required:

Certifications or experience in Dry Needling or manual therapy.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary Range:

$85,000 – $95,000+ base salary, scaled based on experience.

  • Achievable Productivity Bonuses:

Immediate bonuses for all volume exceeding 11 visits per day or 55 visits per week.

  • Incentive Package:

Access to performance bonuses including a $5,000 non-taxable bonus, a $1,000 holiday bonus, plus financial incentives for Dry Needling visits and 5-star Google Reviews.

  • Continuing Education & Direct Mentorship:

Hands-on training in FDM and complex diagnostics directly from our Clinical Director.

  • Work-Life Balance:

Sustainable pacing explicitly designed to protect clinicians from corporate burnout.
