Responsibilities

Support systems and mission engineering activities for complex government-sponsored systems and systems-of-systems Assist with analysis, modeling, and evaluation of system requirements, architectures, interfaces, and performance using modern engineering methods and tools Apply or gain experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Digital Engineering, data analytics, and software development techniques Support the development of models, metrics, and analyses used to evaluate system alternatives, performance, interoperability, resiliency, and other key attributes Collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams and contribute to project deliverables, technical documentation, and presentations

Qualifications: Must be a student enrolled full-time in an accredited degree-seeking program in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering or a related degree and continue to be enrolled full-time the semester following the internship Familiarity with a programming or technical computing language such as Python or MATLAB Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Digital Engineering (DE), or related systems modeling and architecture concepts U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain the required U.S. government security clearance Academic, project, or internship experience with systems engineering, analysis, modeling and simulation, software development, or a related technical area Coursework or project experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Digital Engineering, mission engineering, or systems architecture Experience using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools for data analysis, modeling, simulation, or automation Demonstrated ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
