Mind and Motion is currently seeking a Part or Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Johns Creek area to provide quality therapy services!
About Us
Mind and Motion is a provider-owned multidisciplinary group practice that specializes in treating primarily kids with developmental and communication disorders. Our treatment teams are comprised of psychologists, counselors, neurotherapists, and other allied health professionals with a goal to provide a more comprehensive, holistic, and evidenced-based approach to therapy.
We are the only group in the area providing this variety of clinical services all in one location!
Working with us will allow you to create and have your own flexible schedule. There are opportunities for advancement, clinical support and mentorship!
Must be currently licensed in Georgia. New grads and experienced clinicians are welcome to apply as we offer supervision and mentorship. Must demonstrate an ability to work with families and caregivers to incorporate therapeutic techniques into the interests and routines of the family.
Must have the ability to evaluate and treat disorders and delays that affect our patient’s ability to perform daily activities and research their educational goals.
Duties:
- Evaluate and treat children with developmental, sensory disorders, and feeding disorders
- Complete and submit accurate documentation for all corresponding treatments provided (SOAP notes, Evaluations, & Plan of Cares).
- Participate in monthly case management meetings to review goals and therapeutic progress your patients are making with other clinical disciplines/teams.
- Work under the supervision of the Allied Health Manager.
- Work in close relationship with the administrative team to provide high quality, administrative customer service.
- Abide by all confidentiality requirements.
- Participate in marketing or community awareness activities related to fulfilling the company’s goals associated with growth and awareness.
Requirements:
- GA OTR/L Licensed
- Experience working with children that have developmental delays and/or disabilities.
