My client is seeking a senior

Electronics Hardware Specialist

to lead the design, development, testing, and certification of advanced aerospace electronic hardware systems, including embedded electronics, sensors, power management solutions, and mission-critical monitoring technologies.

Description

  • Lead end-to-end electronic hardware design and development for advanced aerospace electronics, embedded systems, and sensor technologies.
  • Design and validate analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits using industry-leading simulation tools such as PSpice, LTSpice, and ModelSim.
  • Drive systems architecture, technology evaluation, and new product development initiatives across multiple engineering programs.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards including DO-160, DO-254, MIL-STD, EMI/EMC, and environmental qualification requirements.
  • Perform hands-on hardware testing, PCB review, prototype development, troubleshooting, and verification activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to support successful product launches and production readiness.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in electronics hardware design, development, and product lifecycle management from concept through production.
  • Strong expertise in embedded hardware architecture, microcontrollers, processors, FPGA/SoC devices, and high-speed electronic systems.
  • Proven experience with EMI/EMC analysis, mitigation, environmental testing, and aerospace-grade electronic design.
  • Hands-on experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, hardware validation, troubleshooting, and laboratory test equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex engineering projects, mentor technical teams, and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
