MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (LTAC) to join our team in Ontario, CA. Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to long-term acute care patients with complex medical needs
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in an LTAC environment
- Monitor and manage patients on ventilators, IV therapy, wound care, and other advanced clinical interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, therapists, and case managers
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Document patient progress accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR)
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and disease management
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
- Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience in an LTAC, ICU, Med-Surg, or acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with ventilator management, wound care, and complex patient populations preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
