We are hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist for our therapist-owned outpatient orthopedic practice in Efland, North Carolina.
Compensation and Benefits

Practice Physical Therapy With More Time to Treat
You will provide true one-on-one Physical Therapy during 40-minute appointments.
That means more time to:
- Complete thoughtful evaluations.
- Understand what is limiting your patient.
- Apply skilled interventions.

- Educate your patients.
- Adjust treatment based on their response.
- Build meaningful therapeutic relationships.
You will be able to stay focused on the patient in front of you and provide the level of care you were trained to deliver.
Maintain a Sustainable Physical Therapy Caseload
Full-time Physical Therapists average approximately 60 patient visits per week.
This structure is designed to help you remain productive while still having the time to:
- Deliver individualized care.
- Complete documentation.
- Reassess patient progress.

- Think critically about each plan of care.
Have Dedicated Time to Progress Your Patients
You will have protected plan progression time to:
- Review patient outcomes.
- Reassess progress.

- Modify treatment strategies.
- Coordinate care when necessary.
You will have space to use your clinical reasoning instead of relying on a rushed treatment schedule.
Spend More Time With Patients and Less Time Fighting Documentation

Documentation is expected to be completed within 24 hours, and you will have tools and clinic support to help keep administrative work manageable.
The goal is simple.
Spend more of your energy practicing Physical Therapy and less of it catching up on notes after the workday ends.
Treat a Diverse Outpatient Orthopedic Caseload
You will help patients improve mobility, strength, confidence, and their ability to participate fully in everyday life.
Your Physical Therapy caseload may include patients recovering from:
- Musculoskeletal injuries.
- Orthopedic surgery.
- Sports-related injuries.
- Joint pain and stiffness.
- Strength and mobility limitations.
- Balance impairments.
- Falls or fear of falling.
- Functional movement limitations.
- Difficulty returning to work.
- Difficulty returning to exercise, recreation, or sport.
You will use your clinical reasoning to determine the most appropriate combination of therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, movement retraining, patient education, and functional progression for each patient.
What You Will Do
As a Physical Therapist, you will:
- Complete comprehensive outpatient orthopedic evaluations.
- Identify impairments, functional limitations, and patient goals.
- Develop individualized Physical Therapy plans of care.
- Provide one-on-one treatment during 40-minute appointments.
- Use therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, movement retraining, and patient education.
- Progress treatment based on patient response and functional improvement.
- Support post-operative rehabilitation.
- Guide patients through return-to-sport and return-to-activity programs.
- Help patients improve balance and reduce fall risk.
- Develop and progress individualized home exercise programs.
- Monitor outcomes and modify plans of care when appropriate.
- Educate patients about their condition, recovery plan, and next steps.
- Communicate with patients, families, referring providers, and team members.
- Participate in clinical collaboration and case discussions.
- Complete accurate documentation within 24 hours.
- Use AI-assisted tools to improve documentation efficiency.
- Participate in community engagement and outreach.
- Contribute to future clinical programs and clinic growth.
