Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including emergency rooms and critical care units. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work effectively under pressure, and a commitment to patient advocacy.

SHIFTS:

3PM-11PM, 7AM-3PM, WEEKENDS INCLUDED

Duties

• Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and symptoms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with ICD-9 coding standards.
• Participate in critical care procedures as needed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Provide hospice palliative medicine services, focusing on pain management and comfort for patients with terminal illnesses.
• Engage in family planning discussions when appropriate, offering resources and support.

Experience

Candidates should have a valid nursing license and relevant experience in a healthcare setting. Experience in emergency room environments or Level I Trauma Centers is highly desirable. Familiarity with travel nursing assignments is a plus.

Strong skills in discharge planning, medical records management, critical care nursing, hospice palliative medicine, pain management, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.
