Job Description

The Data Analytics Platform Client Services team is seeking an experienced HadoopCloudera Platform Engineer with strong expertise in the Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem Ozone Private Cloud Data Services Linux and HBase This is a clienttenantfacing production support role responsible for supporting businesscritical data platforms troubleshooting complex platform issues improving performance managing capacity and developing automation and monitoring capabilities

Required Skills

10 years of experience working with Hadoop frameworks and ecosystem components

Strong handson experience with Cloudera Hadoop

Strong knowledge of HDFS YARN Hive Tez Impala Spark MapReduce and HBase

Experience with Apache Ozone

Experience with Cloudera Private Cloud Data Services CDW CDE and CML

Knowledge of NiFi Ranger Hive Metadata and Hadoop security

Strong LinuxUnix administration and troubleshooting skills

Strong scripting experience using Python and UnixShell scripting

Experience with REST APIs and Cloudera Manager APIs

Strong understanding of Hadoop performance tuning log analysis capacity management monitoring and ing

Excellent troubleshooting problemsolving and clientfacing communication skills

Skills Mandatory Skills : Big Data Hadoop Ecosystem

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
