As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll use your expertise in Next.js, React, and TypeScript to build and enhance our portfolio of marketplace brands — including YachtWorld.com, Boat Trader, and Boats.com, some of the most visited marine marketplaces in the world.

Our stack includes Next.js, React, TypeScript, Redux, TanStack Query, and AWS, with tools like GitHub, Slack, Jira, and Codex. We work as an agile product team in the heart of Brickell, Miami.
What You’ll Do
- Build, enhance, and maintain high-traffic web applications across YachtWorld, Boat Trader, and Boats.com.
- Develop scalable front-end solutions using
React, Next.js, and TypeScript
.
- Own projects end-to-end, from technical decisions and implementation through testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality customer experiences.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues and performance problems.
- Build fast, accessible, SEO-friendly web experiences.
- Contribute to shared component libraries and design systems.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
- Evaluate emerging front-end technologies and advocate for improvements that provide meaningful value.
- Contribute to a team culture focused on ownership, continuous improvement, and high-quality engineering.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of professional experience
building and maintaining complex web applications at scale.
- Strong expertise in
React, Next.js, and TypeScript
.
- Hands-on experience with
SSR and CSR
patterns.
- Strong understanding of front-end architecture, performance, UX, and code quality.
- Experience with
Redux or Redux Toolkit
and
TanStack Query
.
- Experience with testing tools such as
Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress
.
- Experience working with design systems and shared component libraries.
- Experience building and operating web applications in a cloud environment;
AWS experience preferred
.
- Strong understanding of web performance, including
Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, and Real User Monitoring (RUM)
.
- Knowledge of
WCAG and accessible web development practices
.
- Understanding of technical SEO, including metadata, structured data/schema markup, and on-page optimization.
- Familiarity with web application security and
OWASP
principles.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions with limited oversight.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field,
or equivalent professional experience
