Occupational Therapist (OT) – Outpatient Rehab – Neuro (Part-Time)

Role Overview: A part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) with outpatient neuro experience providing patient-centered rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to improve daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
• Develop and revise treatment goals collaboratively with patients and families, providing education and discharge planning.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient education according to departmental standards.
• Act as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, ethical practices, and infection control protocols.
• Foster effective communication, teamwork, and a positive patient experience using principles like AIDET.
• Participate in professional development, mandatory training, and orientation activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist with current BLS certification.
• Effective communication, customer service orientation, team collaboration, and basic computer skills.
