Senior Accountant

We’re looking for a

Senior Accountant

to join a growing accounting team. This role is ideal for an experienced accountant who enjoys owning key pieces of the month-end close, financial reporting, account analysis, and process improvement while working closely with leadership and other teams across the organization.

What you'll do:

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Maintain the general ledger and help ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts and research discrepancies.
• Assist with monthly financial statements and management reporting.
• Analyze actual results against budget and forecast and help explain key variances.
• Assist with cash flow reporting and forecasting.
• Support external audits, tax engagements, and GAAP compliance.
• Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
• Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis to leadership.
• Partner with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and other teams to resolve accounting issues.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting team members.

What we're looking for:

• Strong general accounting experience, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with complex transactions.
• Workday experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Salary Range:

$80K–$90K

• Direct-hire opportunity
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, with Wednesdays required
• No business travel required
