Position Overview
GFFG America is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer & Social Media Coordinator to shape the visual identity and online presence of our brands in the U.S. This role sits within our Brand Strategy team and works across Cafe Knotted and Hojokban, producing design assets, creating and publishing social content, managing our online reputation, and building relationships with creators and media.
This is an on-site position based in Los Angeles, typically working out of our Arts District locations with regular visits to Cafe Knotted Westfield Century City. The ideal candidate is a strong designer who is equally comfortable behind a camera, inside a content calendar, and in a guest review inbox.
Schedule
The typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm. Hours are flexible and will shift as needed to capture content and support events, including some evenings and weekends.
Duties and Responsibilities
Graphic Design & Print Production:
- Produce polished, on-brand design assets using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) across social media, web, advertising, menus, signage, and packaging
- Apply strong typography, color, layout, and composition to elevate all marketing materials
- Maintain and enforce brand guidelines for each brand, ensuring visual consistency across every touchpoint
- Manage updates to menus, promotional materials, website visuals, and in-store displays so guest-facing information is always accurate
- Adapt designs across digital, print, packaging, multimedia, and experiential formats
- Organize and maintain a structured digital asset library
- Coordinate with external vendors and printers on menu printing, signage, and collateral to ensure production quality and on-time delivery
Social Media & Content Creation:
- Lead the management and curation of all Company social channels (Cafe Knotted, Hojokban) on Instagram and TikTok, keeping them visually cohesive, consistently updated, and aligned with brand strategy
- Plan, create, schedule, and publish 2–3 posts and Reels per week per brand, maintaining a content calendar at least one week ahead
- Capture and edit photo and video content on-site at our locations for social, web, and marketing use
- Monitor DMs, comments, and tagged content daily; engage with the community and repost guest content
- Analyze social performance and engagement data to inform content strategy and improve reach

- Track review trends and surface recurring guest feedback to on-site leadership
Website, SEO / GEO & Digital Marketing:
- Maintain website content and visuals for both brands
- Support search engine optimization (SEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO) efforts so our brands are discoverable on Google, Maps, and AI-driven search
- Set up and manage Google Ads campaigns, monitoring performance and adjusting as needed
Creator & Media Outreach:
- Identify, evaluate, and reach out to local creators, influencers, and media who fit each brand
- Manage gifted and paid collaborations end to end — outreach, negotiation and budget approval, scheduling visits with on-site teams, and tracking posted content and results
- Assist in organizing and executing special marketing events, campaigns, and collaborations
