Position: Senior SDET Automation Engineer (Healthcare Domain)

Location: Reston, VA - Hybrid (Monthly once or twice)

Duration: Long Term

MUST HAVE:

SDET/Automation Engineer, Healthcare Claims, AWS, MongoDB/PostgreSQL, SQL queries, Restful APIs/Webservices, CI/CD DevOps, TypeScript, Karate, Selenium and Playwright

NOTE:

Looking for someone who is a SDET/QA Automation SME with a mandatory Healthcare Claims background, who is an absolute expert (SME) in TypeScript and Karate, capable of building scalable frameworks from scratch in Java, Selenium and Playwright, while also possessing deep hands-on experience in complex SQL/API testing, AWS cloud migration with MongoDB/PostgreSQL, and CI/CD DevOps integration within Agile environments.

• The client needs a Senior SDET/Automation Engineer with a mandatory background in Healthcare Claims and hands-on experience migrating legacy apps to AWS with MongoDB/PostgreSQL.
• They require deep expertise in database testing (complex SQL queries) and RESTful API testing, alongside strong Java programming skills.
• The candidate must be a

Subject Matter Expert (SME) in TypeScript and Karate,

capable of driving framework development and strategy in these tools

"not just basic familiarity or working as an Automation Tool".

• They also expect strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Playwright with the proven ability to build automation frameworks entirely from scratch using BDD/TDD approaches.
• The role demands seamless integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions "CI/CD DevOps Experience is required") and validation of cloud-native, microservices-based architectures.
• Proactive collaborator who works well in Agile/Scrum, takes ownership of test results, and understands performance/security testing and reporting tools.
