STIHL Product Manager

Kitsap Tractor is considering expanding our flagship location in Marysville to include STIHL power equipment and mowers. We're looking for the right person to help make that happen.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated individual with strong inventory management, purchasing, and sales experience who can take ownership of this new department. When we find the right candidate, we're prepared to move forward with bringing STIHL to Marysville.

This would be a hands-on position reporting directly to ownership, with responsibility for ordering, receiving, inventory control, merchandising, and sales.

Responsibilities:

• Manage STIHL inventory, including purchasing, ordering, receiving, and stock control.
• Monitor inventory levels, product movement, and seasonal demand to maintain appropriate stock.
• Manage day-to-day STIHL department operations.
• Sell STIHL power equipment, mowers, accessories, and related products.
• Help customers select the right equipment for their needs.
• Maintain organized, attractive, and properly stocked displays.
• Develop customer relationships and help grow STIHL sales at our Marysville location.
• Coordinate with a STIHL service technician, who would also be hired as part of the expansion.
• Work directly with ownership on inventory planning, sales performance, and department growth.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in inventory management, purchasing, ordering, and receiving is required.
• Experience managing inventory in a retail equipment, hardware, or similar environment preferred.
• Experience selling outdoor power equipment, lawn and garden equipment, or related products.
• STIHL product knowledge strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take responsibility for department performance.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Comfortable using inventory management and point-of-sale systems.

This is an opportunity to help establish and manage a new product department at our Marysville location, working directly with ownership from the beginning.

We're looking for someone who understands that successful retail operations require more than just selling products. Inventory control, proper purchasing, organization, and customer service are all essential to the success of this position.

Compensation: $25 / hour + incentives.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
