Physical Therapist

Overview

As a Physical Therapist, you’ll help patients improve movement, manage pain, and build skills for daily life. You’ll assess each patient’s needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and adapt care as progress changes. Your work may support patients in acute care, inpatient or outpatient settings, rehabilitation centers, clinics, hospitals, or home and community care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient function using anatomy and physiology knowledge, and explain findings in clear, accessible language.
• Develop and update care plans and treatment plans; deliver physiotherapy and patient rehabilitation, including trigger point therapy when appropriate.
• Document assessments, interventions, and progress according to clinical documentation standards using electronic health records (EHR) or other electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals on patient care and discharge planning; communicate with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Adapt care for diverse needs, including orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• Practicing experience in a physical therapy role and knowledge of medical terminology, physical therapy documentation, and clinical documentation standards.
• Relevant experience in one or more settings, such as acute care, inpatient, hospital, outpatient, outpatient rehabilitation, clinic, home health, or home and community care.
• Experience working with geriatric patients; exposure to pediatrics, orthopedics, or neurology is also relevant.
• Ability to develop treatment plans, manage EHR or EMR documentation, and communicate effectively with patients and care teams.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per week

Work Location: In person
