Summary
-----------
We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the vision, execution, and continuous improvement of the customer-facing applications that shape how homeowners and pros discover our products, build confidence in them, and act. That includes AZEKNow, our contractor engagement platform, alongside the branded applications, visualizers, and pro match experiences that sit beside it.
These are decision products. They directly influence product discovery, product confidence, lead quality, and conversion across the homeowner and pro journey, which means they deserve the same product rigor as any external digital product we ship. The role exists because that ownership has been spread across requests, teams, and delivery motions, and needs to sit with one accountable person.
If you thrive at the intersection of strategy, technology, and user experience, and you want to shape how contractors and homeowners connect with our brands, this is a role with real surface area. You will partner across Sales, Customer Experience, IT, and Marketing to launch and scale digital tools that help our pros win more work and help homeowners buy with confidence.
What You’ll Do:
-------------------
This is a product management role, not a delivery role, and the distinction matters. You define the customer problem and the business opportunity and govern what gets built and why it matters. Product ownership translates that into stories and sprint sequencing, and IT owns architecture, security, and the build itself.
- Define the customer problems and business opportunities the portfolio exists to solve.
- Own the product vision and the value case behind each major initiative.
- Align Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience around shared outcomes rather than competing feature lists.
- Work with the project management office and Finance on scope, funding, and value realization.
You hold one roadmap across several products, which is harder than holding one per product. Expect to spend real effort on sequencing, on reuse between products, and on explaining tradeoffs to stakeholders who each see only their own request.
- Own and evolve the roadmap for AZEKNow and the wider customer-facing app portfolio.
- Prioritize across products, and keep shared components and patterns from being rebuilt product by product.
- Define phased releases with clear scope, dependencies, and success criteria.
- Govern intake so new customer-facing tools arrive as managed products, not as one-off project requests.
The organization runs one end-to-end model: the business brings strategy and need, the digital team defines what, why, and the KPI, digital and IT together decide how, and IT delivers. Your contribution is clarity early, and decisions that hold.
- Give product ownership the context, acceptance criteria, and priority needed to keep the backlog healthy.
- Partner with IT on feasibility, complexity, integrations, and release planning before commitments are made.
- Review delivered outcomes against intent, using Jira and Workfront as the system of record.
You are accountable for what these products change, not only for what they ship. That means instrumentation before launch and a standing optimization cycle after it.
- Define KPIs for each product and connect them to lead quality, conversion, and engagement.
- Monitor adoption, engagement, and quality after every release, and act on what the data shows.
- Report portfolio performance and return on investment to Digital Experience and business leadership.
On-time, high-quality releases across the customer-facing app portfolio.
- Improved engagement metrics and task completion rates for pros and homeowners.
- Improved lead quality and conversion attributable to portfolio products.
- Scaled product practices, healthy backlogs, and clear team alignment.
- Increased cross-platform integration and reuse across the ecosystem.
What You’ll Bring:
----------------------
- Seven or more years in digital product management or product ownership, including time owning the what and the why rather than only the backlog.
- Experience owning more than one product at a time, and prioritizing across them.
- Proven experience with agile delivery, roadmap planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with Jira, backlog refinement, user acceptance testing coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Practical analytics skill: defining KPIs, reading the data, and acting on what it says.
- Strong user empathy and a passion for turning insight into product solutions.
- The credibility to hold a prioritization line with senior business stakeholders.
- Experience in construction, building products, or business-to-business and business-to-business-to-consumer platforms preferred.
- Background with contractor or dealer engagement platforms, loyalty tools, or lead matching products preferred.
- Familiarity with visualizers, configurators, CRM touchpoints, or customer data platforms preferred.
What You’ll Receive:
------------------------
