Nurse Practitioner - Women's Health Clinic

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an advanced practice nursing program

Advanced knowledge and skills in the delivery of nursing services Licensure, Registration, Certification:

BLS

ACLS

Active unrestricted Class D U.S. Driver’s License

One of the following: ·

• Current Alabama RN license
• Current Multi State RN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama*
• Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama

CRNP credentialed by the Alabama Board of Nursing and collaboration with physician approved by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners Desired Qualifications:

Experience working in mobile health clinics, community health centers, federally qualified health centers, public-health programs, or other underserved healthcare settings

Working knowledge providing care to populations experiencing barriers to healthcare access

Working knowledge of community outreach and health education

Responsibilities:

In collaboration with a Physician, assumes total patient care for designated patients. Plans, implements, coordinates, and evaluates comprehensive care to ensure quality and continuity of care delivery.
