IDR is seeking a

Senior Software Engineer – Go & Java

to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. In this role, you’ll help design and build secure, scalable backend services and APIs that support enterprise-grade platforms. You’ll collaborate with engineers and architects in a highly regulated industry environment (financial services) where reliability, security, and performance are critical.

Position Overview for the Senior Software Engineer – Go & Java:

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native services and APIs using Go and Java
• Contribute to system architecture and technical direction for distributed microservice platforms
• Apply secure development practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle
• Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and performance
• Evaluate and recommend technologies (including open-source) to solve engineering challenges

Requirements for the Senior Software Engineer – Go & Java:

• 5+ years of enterprise software engineering experience
• Hands-on development experience with both Go and Java
• Experience building cloud-native applications using distributed architectures and microservices
• Experience designing well-structured APIs and applying software design patterns
• Experience applying secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
