Engines & Power Systems provides the propulsion, auxiliary power and electrical systems that keep aircraft flying. With engines across roughly 120 aircraft types and more than 47,000 APUs in service today, we support operators across commercial and defense markets — backed by an aftermarket network built for the long service life of every platform we power.

As a Software Engineer II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of software solutions that support aerospace applications. You will work on innovative projects that enhance the performance, safety, and reliability of aerospace systems.

You will report directly to our Space Sr Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Moca, Puerto Rico location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development of critical aerospace software components that enable advanced aircraft systems and improve overall flight experience and safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, test, and maintain software components for aerospace systems in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration and high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to enhance software performance and reliability.
