Overview

Registered Nurse – Telemetry needed for a travel assignment in a general acute care hospital setting within Concord, Massachusetts. Start date: 11/17/2026. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Shifts are 12-hour days on a 12x3 schedule, typically 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with every other weekend and every other holiday required. This tele unit requires telemetry monitoring proficiency, Meditech experience is highly preferred, and prior travel experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for telemetry patients, including monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to alarms.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; document assessments and interventions.
• Perform routine telemetry duties such as hemodynamic monitoring, IV therapy, and patient safety checks.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
• Document care in the electronic health record, with Meditech experience preferred.
• Ensure safe patient transitions and thorough handoffs during shift changes.

Requirements

• Licensure: Current Massachusetts RN license; BLS certification required
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of medical-surgical telemetry experience in an acute care facility
• Skills: Telemetry monitoring proficiency; Meditech experience highly preferred
• Travel: Travel experience required
• Availability: Must be able to work 12-hour day shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday, including Christmas Eve or Christmas Day (RTO not accepted on those days)
