Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for PCU patients in collaboration with the care team.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status, including vitals, labs, and response to therapies.
• Administer medications and IV therapies; manage lines and device care as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary staff to implement care plans and adjust as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record; ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Support discharge planning, patient education, and family communication.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Texas
• Current BLS (CPR) certification
• PCU or similar unit experience preferred (1 year preferred)
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in a travel assignment
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
