Job Title: SDET with POS

Work Location: Manhattan Beach, CA (5 Days Onsite)

Job Description

• Provide hands-on, in-person validation of Aptos POS and associated store technology.
• Design and maintain POS test scenarios and scripts covering store configurations, tender types, and peripheral combinations, with traceability in Jira/Zephyr.
• Develop and maintain automation where feasible while retaining hands-on validation for hardware-dependent journeys.
• Test register transactions, tenders, returns, voids, promotions, loyalty, receipts, and store-operational workflows across Manhattan POS or Aptos POS.
• Validate physical peripherals, including PIN pads, scanners, printers, cash drawers, and other lane devices.
• Execute payment-terminal and device scenarios that cannot be reliably reproduced through browser-only automation.
• Support release certification, peak-readiness checks, defect triage, and go/no-go decisions for store deployments.
• Log POS defects with device logs, receipts, and recordings, and coordinate retests with development and store technology teams.
• Provide daily test execution status and capture test and defect metrics for weekly and monthly reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Aptos POS testing and retail store workflows is preferred.
