Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

Title: General Surgery Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

Location: Neenah, WI

Job Type: Full-Time | 30–40 Hours per Week

Schedule: 3–4 Days per Week | 10-Hour Day Shifts

Salary: Open to discuss

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments, physical examinations, and order and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Round on hospitalized surgical patients alongside attending surgeons.
• Coordinate consultations, admissions, and discharge planning.
• Conduct new patient and postoperative outpatient visits.
• Manage surgical wounds, incisions, drains, and postoperative care.
• Provide patient education, follow-up care, and accurate clinical documentation.

Schedule &

Work-Life Balance:

• Full-time position with a 3- or 4-day workweek.
• 10-hour shifts, typically 7 AM–5 PM, Monday through Friday.
• No routine call, evening shifts, or regular weekends.
• Occasional rotating weekend coverage during high-volume periods.
• Limited holiday coverage.
• Travel to outreach locations as needed, with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Active Wisconsin NP or PA license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Relevant clinical experience in general surgery, trauma, or surgical patient care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient management skills.
