Sr. Embedded Software Engineer (LynxOS RTOS FPGA)

Citizenship * Level 4: BS+8-10 YRS or MS+6-8 YRS W2 pay rate: (DOE) depending-on-exp & industry best fit Flexible 4/10 work schedule with every Friday off Per Diem available for expenses 12 mos+ project REQUIREMENTS: MSCS/BSCS or related 4-year degree 6+ years of Embedded software development using C coding on the LynxOS or LynxElement RTOS Embedded software/hardware design, development, test, and debug of device drivers, boot loaders, and built-in-test libraries Support safety-critical or mission-critical avionics/aerospace systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on software /FPGA/hardware interfaces. Integrate custom-designed hardware and FPGA with software in a lab environment. Support documentation, error correction, and performance validation.

Participate in certification activities to include requirements and code reviews to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Designs, develops, operates, and maintains software and firmware components and computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with engineering, scientific, and manufacturing requirements.

Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and products such as laboratory simulation systems, airplane flight control and display systems, avionics, mechanical and electrical systems, weapons armament, commercial and military aircraft systems, mobile and ground-based defense systems, space systems , and other systems and applications of this nature.
