Competitive W2 pay rate range (depending-on-exp & industry best fit) 12 mos+ project PROJECT SCOPE: Embedded software engineers will report to a section manager within the Combat Mission Systems (CMS) Electrical Software and Controls (ESC) Functional Engineering Directorate and will be matrixed to our Software Integrated Product Team ( IPT ) Lead.

Embedded software engineers will support one or two of the our Program Engineering Managers on efforts limited to one or two specific contracts or work directives within the our team’s portfolio of products.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to qualify for a Secret DoD security clearance MSCS/BSCS degree in a relevant technical discipline plus 5 years relevant experience; or a master’s degree and 3 years of experience; or a Ph.D. and 1 years of experience.
• Highly skilled in OOD/OOP and C++ embedded software development.
• Experience working with RTOS and/or bare-metal real-time application development.
• Practical knowledge and experience with applicable software engineering processes.
• Familiarity with Ethernet & related communication protocols.
• Contemporary design/development experience.
• Weapon systems and/or combat vehicle subject matter expertise.
• End-to-end SDLC, Agile methodologies HIGHLY PREFEREED: Familiarity with Capability Maturity Model Integrated ( CMMI ) and Life Cycle Management Working Cybersecurity domain knowledge, specifically of Risk Management Framework ( RMF ) and the requirements and process to obtain/maintain Authority to Operate ( ATO ).
