The Software Engineering Intern will gain exposure to the product development cycle while contributing to software projects involving development tools, compiler design, graphical user interfaces, drivers, networking, embedded and real-time systems, data acquisition, and mathematical analysis.

Responsibilities

Systems & Embedded/Driver Development - T&M system and embedded-level software products are rich with features You will have the opportunity to work with High level programming languages. Ex: C++, Python, C A variety of operating systems. Ex: Microsoft Windows, Linux, real-time OS High speed bus interfaces.

Ex: PCIExpress, PCI, Ethernet, USB User-mode, kernel-mode driver components, or firmware that runs on embedded processors and FPGAs

Qualifications: Pursuing Bachelors in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, engineering physics, mechatronics, physics, or software engineering Strong foundation and understanding of computers and exposure to high-level programming languages such as C++, C or C# Class Standing Sophomore or above Understanding of software design and architecture principles Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future Knowledge of operating system components and design Knowledge of computer system/bus architectures Knowledge of Data structures Preference given to well-qualified rising juniors and rising seniors
