Job Overview

Dignitas Digital is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain applications that address business and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid programming foundation, an analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver reliable software solutions.

The successful candidate will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and implementing features to troubleshooting issues, improving performance, and supporting application updates.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom software applications.
• Translate business and technical requirements into practical software solutions.
• Write clean, reusable, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Develop and integrate APIs, backend services, and database-driven features.
• Build and maintain web application components using appropriate technologies.
• Test software functionality and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and project stakeholders to deliver project milestones.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and software testing.
• Maintain technical documentation and support application deployment.
• Contribute to software modernization, integrations, and workflow automation projects.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, Python, Java, or C#.
• Understanding of software development principles and application architecture.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, and data integration.
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
• Knowledge of debugging, testing, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience developing web applications or custom business software.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as React, Node.js, Laravel, or comparable technologies.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, deployment workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience working on client projects, software integrations, or application modernization.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
