Civil CAD Designer/Drafter – Water/Wastewater

CVL Consultants is a locally owned collaborative design firm comprised of civil engineers, hydrologists, planners, landscape architects, and surveyors. Our diverse work portfolio includes developer driven master planned communities, urban infill development, high-end retail, hospitality and resort development, and public parks.

Our Water and Wastewater team works on design, permitting, reports, and studies for distribution system and collection system piping projects, well drilling & equipping, wellhead treatment, booster pump station and storage, lift stations, and reclaimed system projects for developer, municipal and private utility clients.

We are growing and seeking talented and team-oriented members who are problem solvers by nature, like puzzles, and like new challenges. We are searching for a CADD Designer to assist the Water and Wastewater team.

Qualifications

• Trained in AutoCAD drafting
• Experienced in interpreting civil engineering grading, drainage, utility, and paving plans.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of prior experience in a civil engineering related field, more experience a plus.
• Working knowledge of plan set preparation practices for construction documents including: sheet set manager, x-references, plan and profile views, and dynamic annotation.
• Ability to adjust drafting strategies based on local jurisdictional or project requirements.

Pay: $31.00 - $46.00 per hour
