About this role

Who We Are

CoVolt Power is a leading utility-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) company specializing in the design and delivery of solar, battery energy storage (BESS), and high-voltage infrastructure. Since its founding in 2005, the company has built a reputation for de-risking project delivery and providing creative, integrated solutions that span the power and digital infrastructure sectors.

Consistently ranked as a top-tier EPC, CoVolt Power leverages a mission-driven approach to safety and quality, delivering thousands of megawatts in renewable assets that support a more resilient and sustainable energy future for developers, utilities, independent power producers (IPPs), and data center operators across North America.

Position Summary

The Technical Product Manager - Corporate Applications owns the technology roadmap for CoVolt's corporate applications from the technical side, anchored on our Trimble Vista ERP.

You translate business needs into product requirements, prioritize the backlog, and drive delivery of enhancements, integrations, interfaces, reporting, and governance across the platforms that run Finance, Accounting, Payroll, HR, Project Accounting, and Procurement.

Beyond Vista, you serve as the technical product owner for a portfolio of corporate applications (for example, UKG, LCPTracker, and FloQast), and you own the integrations that connect Vista to the broader enterprise (for example, Procore, B2W, and our reporting and data platforms).

The role is intentionally product-led, not order-taking. You partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Payroll, HR, Project Controls, Procurement, Data/BI, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, and vendors to define problems, clarify ownership, and move priority capabilities from idea to adoption.

The business owns the process, data, controls, and outcomes; you own the ERP platform roadmap, integration strategy, interface reliability, governance discipline, and technical delivery that enable those outcomes.

What You'll

Own

  • Own the Vista ERP and corporate applications roadmap — build and manage a prioritized roadmap for Vista and adjacent corporate platforms, balancing business value, process maturity, compliance, and enterprise architecture.
  • Own the ERP integration and interface strategy — manage the health, reliability, and roadmap of integrations between Vista and connected platforms (for example, Procore, B2W, and our reporting and data platforms), including Trimble App Xchange, SFTP/SQL feeds, and the manual Excel bridges (such as B2W Excel Vista budget upload, equipment forecast, and SOV setup) that need to be replaced with governed, auditable integrations.
  • Drive ERP governance — operationalize the Business System Owner / IT System Owner model — change control, configuration standards, security roles, segregation of duties, access reviews, and a monthly ERP steering cadence — so Vista stays compliant, controlled, and auditable.
  • Protect master data discipline — clarify system-of-record boundaries and data ownership across Vista (vendors, customers, jobs, cost codes, chart of accounts) and partner with data/BI to reduce duplicate entry and shadow trackers.
  • Manage vendor and platform relationships — coordinate platform and integration vendors on updates, patches, upgrades, defects, and roadmap alignment; hold vendors accountable to SLAs and product commitments.
  • Drive reporting and AI/automation opportunities — improve financial and operational reporting off Vista (Power BI, Crystal Reports, Spreadsheet Server) and identify high-value automation and AI use cases such as AP invoice automation, reconciliation, and reporting assistance, using governed platforms.
  • Run delivery with product discipline — own intake, backlog refinement, MVP scoping, release planning, testing, cutover, and adoption across Vista modules (GL, AP, AR, SL, PO, PR, JC, EM) and corporate application changes — managing scope, dependencies, and risk without letting complexity or compliance overhead stall progress.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 3-6 months:

  • A clear roadmap is in place — Vista and corporate applications have a prioritized technology roadmap with defined business outcomes, owners, dependencies, and near-term releases.
  • Integrations and interfaces are stabilized — critical integrations are documented, owned, monitored, and the highest-risk manual processes have a plan to be replaced.
  • ERP governance is operating — change control, security roles, access reviews, and ERP steering processes are active and being followed.
  • Data ownership and reporting are trusted — master data ownership is defined, reporting is governed, and business leaders have confidence in the information coming from the platform.
  • The business sees usable progress — stakeholders have working releases, measurable adoption, and clear business outcomes, not just plans.

What You Bring

  • ERP product management experience — experience owning an ERP roadmap, backlog, requirements, prioritization, releases, and stakeholder alignment in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Vista and corporate applications expertise — hands-on experience with Vista/Viewpoint or similar ERP platforms and supporting corporate applications across Finance, Accounting, Payroll, HR, Project Accounting, and Procurement.
  • Integration, data, and reporting experience — practical experience with APIs, interfaces, reporting platforms, master data, and system-of-record governance.
  • Governance and controls mindset — understanding of change control, segregation of duties, access management, audit requirements, and financial system governance.
  • Executive communication and delivery discipline — ability to translate business needs into technology outcomes, manage complex initiatives, and drive adoption from discovery through release.

Bonus Points

  • Trimble Vista / Viewpoint hands-on experience — including configuration, security roles, workflows, and Trimble App Xchange.
  • Construction, EPC, renewable energy, or project-based business experience.
  • Experience integrating ERP platforms with enterprise business applications, reporting platforms, and data ecosystems.
  • Experience with AP automation, financial reporting modernization, or ERP-driven analytics.
  • Experience operating an ERP governance / steering model and partnering with internal audit, finance, and cybersecurity.

How You

Work

  • You are business-outcome driven — you start with the financial or operational problem, not the tool.
  • You are product-minded — you manage a roadmap, prioritize tradeoffs, and ship usable, controlled releases.
  • You are a strong partner — you respect business ownership of process and data while bringing enough technical leadership to keep the platform stable, integrated, and governed.
  • You are controls-aware — you understand that in an ERP, undocumented changes and broken interfaces create real financial and audit risk.
  • You communicate cleanly — you can explain priorities, scope, risks, and decisions in language business and finance leaders can act on.

Reports to: Director, Enterprise Digital Products

Position type: Individual contributor — owns the product roadmap, integration strategy, and governance for Vista ERP and corporate applications.
