A Full Stack Software Engineer opportunity has opened up at an exciting early-stage technology company building software from the ground up for a highly specialised industrial sector. If you are a driven engineer who wants genuine ownership over what you build and the chance to shape a product that real, non-technical users depend on every day, could this be the role for you?

The Role

The Full Stack Software Engineer will take on broad, high-ownership engineering work across a range of interconnected systems, from inventory and parts tracking to machine monitoring and quality management. You will be building greenfield software with no inherited codebase, receiving direct feedback from the end users of the product and iterating quickly based on what you learn.

The role is predominantly backend and infrastructure-focused, though you will need to be comfortable working across the full stack as the product grows.

The Company

This is an Austin based early-stage technology business developing a comprehensive operating system for modern manufacturing environments. The company has secured significant seed funding from a top-tier venture capital firm and counts major defence and aerospace organisations among its customers.

The product is being built entirely from scratch, which means the Full Stack Software Engineer joining now will have a meaningful hand in defining the technical foundations of the business.

What experience does the Full Stack Software Engineer need?

• Strong Python skills are essential; experience with Django is highly desirable, and familiarity with AWS or Kubernetes is a bonus
• Strong experience shipping software used by real end users, and a background that demonstrates pace, ownership, and high standards
• Exposure to machine learning concepts at a practical level, and ideally prior experience in robotics, hardware, factory software, or systems-of-record environments.
