About this role
Core America (www.coreamerica.com) is the world’s leader in providing consulting and software to facility management teams. Based in Endicott, NY and founded in 1995, we serve America’s leading universities, hospitals, school districts, airports, and fortune 500 companies. Our main consulting services are janitorial assessments, audits, training, and bid processes.
Our primary software product, Smart Inspect®, is a quality-assurance platform used by custodial, janitorial and facility management teams everywhere.
The Role
We're looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to own marketing for both brands. You'll plan campaigns and build and send them yourself. You'll produce our emails, letters, flyers and other client materials, and you'll run and attend our trade show programs from start to finish.
This role suits someone who likes variety, works well on their own, and wants to see the results of their work.
Reporting and Collaboration
This position reports to the Vice President of Business Development . You'll work closely with our Fractional Chief Marketing Officer on Smart Inspect positioning, product launches and messaging. You'll also partner with our Head of Strategic Solutions so that marketing matches Core America's consulting services and client strategy.
Responsibilities
Marketing materials and communications
- Write, design and send email campaigns, newsletters and nurture sequences for both brands
- Produce printed and digital materials: letters, flyers, brochures, one-pagers, case studies and sales collateral
- Draft client letters and outreach for leadership and sales
- Keep branding and messaging consistent for both Core America (consulting) and Smart Inspect (SaaS)
Trade shows and events
- Manage the annual trade show calendar and budget
- Be the main contact with show organizers for registration, booth space, deadlines, exhibitor services and sponsorships
- Coordinate booth shipping to and from each show, including freight, drayage, setup and teardown, and storage between events
- Handle staff attendance and travel - flights, hotels, registration, schedules and logistics
- Prepare giveaways, signage and handouts, and follow up on leads after each show
- Attend most of the trade shows and events
Digital and demand generation
- Manage website content, SEO basics and social media channels (LinkedIn especially)
- Help business development generate leads and support Smart Inspect demo and trial campaigns
- Work with the Fractional CMO to turn product updates into marketing campaigns and sales materials
- Track campaign results, such as open rates, leads and show ROI, and report them to the VP of Business Development
- Keep the CRM and email platform organized and up to date
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of marketing experience at a service company and/or a SaaS company
- B2B marketing experience; experience in facilities, education, healthcare, property management or a similar field is a plus
- Hands-on trade show and event coordination experience, including vendor and travel logistics
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Adept with AI tools and can demonstrate experience building processes, skills, and workflows
- Strong project management skills, managing projects, schedules, and timelines
- Experience managing creative projects and resources (e.g. vendors, designers, writers, etc.)
- Skill with email marketing platforms and CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Constant Contact or Salesforce)
- Working knowledge of design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Very organized and able to run several projects and deadlines at once with little oversight
- Works well with senior leaders, including fractional and cross-functional partners
- Comfortable in a small company where you plan the work and do it
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Occasional travel to trade shows
