Responsibilities:

• This is an autonomous position in which the new Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (APP) will be the only provider on-site, with an off-site supervising physician and Lead APP / Medical Director accessible via phone when needed.
• Each APP is supported by a medical assistant who helps with all patient visits, including charting and documentation.
• The clinic uses CarbyOS, an AI-powered EMR designed to reduce administrative burden.

• The role involves caring for a patient population primarily consisting of Latino patients, aged between 35 and 50, with some children, and handling approximately 20 patients per day.

The services of the practice include, but are not limited to:

• routine primary care
• annual physicals
• sick visits
• minor injury care
• sports physicals
• employment physicals
• vaccinations

Approximately 95% of patients are Spanish-speaking and the new APP must be fluent in Spanish.

Qualifications:

• California NP or PA license
• ability to see patients of all ages
• 3+ year primary or urgent care experience
• 2+ year experience in family medicine family medicine, primary care, or urgent care is required
• must be fluent in Spanish
