Key Senior Accountant Responsibilities

• Prepare and review month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Analyze financial results and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist with process improvements, internal controls, and audit support activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

For The Senior Accountant

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Strong background in the service or construction industry; job costing experience is highly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
