UX Content Designer

Location

Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid - 4 days/week onsite)

Schedule: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri

Compensation Range: $50.00 - $59/hr

We’re looking for a Content Designer to help improve the smart home experience within the Xfinity app — a customer facing tool that allows users to manage their Xfinity experience. You’ll make it easier for customers to understand, use, and get more value from their connected home through clear, intuitive in-app content.

Responsibilities:

• Craft intuitive in-app copy and microcopy across multi-step flows to demystify complex smart-device connectivity.
• Architect clear content hierarchies and progressive disclosure models to optimize usability and reduce cognitive load.
• Partner with UX designers, engineers, and product managers to iterate rapid content prototypes inside Figma.
• Translate competitive audits and user behavior insights into cohesive, end-to-end UX messaging strategies.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of dedicated UX writing, content design, or digital product content experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma with a working knowledge of modern design systems and component libraries.
• Strong digital portfolio demonstrating complex concept simplification, plain-language execution, and content hierarchy rationale.

Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Communications, English, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
