We're seeking an experienced Duck Creek Product Owner to lead the vision strategy and delivery of Duck Creek Insurance Platform solutions The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders underwriting policy administration claims and development teams to drive product enhancements prioritize features and ensure successful implementation of Duck Creek applications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the product roadmap for Duck Creek Policy Billing and Claims solutions
  • Gather analyze and prioritize business requirements from insurance stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into user stories acceptance criteria and product backlog items
  • Act as the primary liaison between business teams and Agile delivery teams
  • Lead backlog grooming sprint planning sprint reviews and product demonstrations
  • Ensure alignment of Duck Creek product capabilities with business objectives
  • Drive product releases feature prioritization and go to market readiness
  • Collaborate with architects developers QA teams and business SMEs to deliver high quality solutions
  • Provide guidance on Duck Creek best practices and insurance industry standards
  • Monitor product performance and recommend enhancements based on business feedback and analytics
  • Support UAT activities and stakeholder signoffs

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with Duck Creek Policy Administration Billing andor Claims
  • Deep understanding of Property Casualty PC Insurance processes
  • Experience working as a Product Owner Product Manager or Lead Business Analyst
  • Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong backlog management and requirement prioritization skills
  • Experience with user story creation and acceptance criteria definition
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Familiarity with integrations APIs and insurance ecosystem applications

Preferred Skills:

  • Duck Creek certifications preferred
  • Experience with Duck Creek OnDemand DCOD
  • Knowledge of Guidewire or other insurance core platforms
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Experience with Jira Azure DevOps and Agile delivery tools

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or related field
  • 10 years of overall IT experience
  • 5 years of Duck Creek implementation or product ownership experience
  • Insurance domain expertise preferably in PC Insurance

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $34.41/hour - $53.77/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
