About this role

Overview

BreakThrough is redefining PT: highly-specialized physical therapists, industry-leading continuing education, and one of the highest concentrations of board-certified clinicians in the area.

Real growth, whatever stage you’re at.

We build mentorship into the job, with structured, hands-on support and continuing education through Evidence In Motion (EIM), including board certification support as you build your pediatric specialty. If you’re an experienced clinician, you’ll find autonomy, a team that values what you already bring, and room to mentor others as you shape your career on your terms.

Live and work in Cary, NC.

Cary is a family-friendly Triangle community minutes from Raleigh, with Fred G. Bond Metro Park and Lake Crabtree close by for weekends outdoors.

Benefits

  • $80,000+ base + productivity incentives
  • Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus
  • Student loan repayment for eligible clinicians
  • 401(k) with 4% employer match
  • Generous PTO, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance
  • AI-powered documentation support that reduces after-hours charting
  • Structured mentorship and career development
  • Industry-leading continuing education through Evidence In Motion (EIM), including board certification support
  • Multiple career pathways: clinical excellence and leadership

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive pediatric evaluations and develop individualized, family-centered treatment plans
  • Deliver hands-on, play-based treatment to support each child’s mobility, motor development, and participation in daily life
  • Track progress using objective outcome measures and adjust care plans accordingly
  • Educate parents and caregivers with home exercise programs and strategies to support progress between sessions
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists and the care team to deliver coordinated pediatric care

Qualifications

  • Licensed Physical Therapist, or eligible for NC licensure
  • Open to both new graduates and experienced clinicians
  • CPR and First Aid Certification required
  • Passion for evidence-based, patient centered care.
