About this role
JOB SUMMARY
Big Room Technologies is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead and strengthen our engineering team while remaining actively involved in the work we deliver. This person will mentor engineers, establish and uphold strong engineering practices, and serve as a technical bridge between our engineering team, operations, and client projects.
They’ll help shape technical approaches across projects, build teams around the right mix of skills and interests, and step in as a hands-on contributor or technical lead when needed.
Beyond individual projects, this role will help define how engineering is done at Big Room—creating consistency across our practices, evaluating new technologies, strengthening our technical capabilities, and building a collaborative team where engineers can grow and do their best work.
ABOUT BIG ROOM TECHNOLOGIES
Big Room Technologies helps organizations build better ways for people, processes, and systems to work together through thoughtful technology strategy and custom software engineering.
The challenge usually isn’t a lack of technology—it’s determining what actually needs to improve, how existing systems should evolve, and where new technology can create meaningful value.
We combine technology advisory, systems thinking, and software engineering to help organizations identify the right opportunities, define a practical path forward, and build solutions that work within their real-world environment.
We don’t start with a predetermined product or platform. We start with the problem, then determine the right approach; whether that means improving an existing application, integrating systems, implementing a third-party solution, building custom software, or combining multiple approaches.
