Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant

BTEGF is a well-known public accounting firm on the Treasure Coast with roots that span back 75 years. We are a locally owned and operated full-service CPA Firm.

Pay range is negotiable, outside of the stated pay range, depending on experience level and the interview process.

The job position will be responsible for maintaining financial records, reconciling bank statements and all other responsibilities listed below.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reconcile bank statements
• Prepare financial reports using computerized accounting systems and QuickBooks
• Payroll processing
• Sales tax preparation
• Communication with clients and/or team
• Analyze general ledgers
• Tax return preparation

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1+ years of experience or an associate or bachelor's degree in accounting
• Tax return preparation experience preferred
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks/QuickBooks online, Microsoft office
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
