Build a Fintech Product from the Ground Up

At Axletree, we build payment infrastructure used by banks and financial institutions worldwide. As we expand into multi-currency accounts, FX, and cross-border payments, we're looking for a Product Manager to lead this new product line from concept to launch.

This is a true 0-to-1 opportunity. You'll have the freedom to define the product vision, shape the roadmap, work directly with customers, and drive an MVP into market with the support of an experienced engineering and payments team.

What You'll Do

• Lead customer discovery with banks, fintechs, and internal stakeholders.
• Define personas, customer journeys, and product requirements.
• Build the product vision, MVP scope, and roadmap.
• Translate ideas into epics, user stories, and prioritized backlogs.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Solutions, Sales, and Compliance.
• Drive MVP launch, pilot programs, and product adoption.
• Track KPIs and continuously improve the product based on customer feedback.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of Product Management experience.
• 2+ years in fintech, payments, banking technology, FX, or related financial services.
• Proven experience taking a product from discovery through launch.
• Knowledge of cross-border payments, FX, multi-currency accounts, payouts, and reconciliation.
• Experience with API-driven B2B products.
• Strong Agile, Jira, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with ambiguity and ownership.

Nice to Have

• Experience with FX or payment service providers.
• Knowledge of SWIFT, ISO 20022, or financial messaging.
• Exposure to KYC, AML, and regulated financial services.
• Experience selling products into banks or financial institutions.
